Spent most of today researching social media statistics. I mean, I know social media isn’t something just the “young people” are using to share rock n’ roll videos/post pictures of tattoos/invite other young people to raging parties. But it’s still shocking to me to discover that the fastest growing segment on Facebook is 55-65 year old women.
Women in their fifties?
That’s like, young people’s moms. That’s also a segment of the population with considerable buying power and a substantial disposable income. Social media isn’t just for college kids anymore.
What does this tell us? Well, Facebook is not a fad. Welcome to a new way of life.
