"You're in Luck, No Fares, No Blarney"

Thinking about partaking in the St. Patrick’s Day festivities this year? Have you thought about how you will get to and from the various happenings in your local area? “You’re in Luck, No Fares, No Blarney” is the stance Miller Lite takes every year to ensure that people are getting home safely. For the last 23 years, Miller Lite employee volunteers have successfully marketed the Miller Lite Free Rides Program by visiting local retail establishments to share information about safe transportation alternatives as a means to help promote drunk-driving prevention, and “that with great beer, comes great responsibility.” The goal of the program is to raise community awareness that drunk driving is completely preventable.

Budweiser feels the same way with a nationwide designated driver program and “Grab Some Buds” campaign.

Miller Lite has provided over 2.2 million rides in the last 23 years and Budweiser has provided over 1.8 million cab rides and 13,500 “Tow to Go” rides since 1998.

We will leave you with a short Irish blessing, with the hope that you have a safe and blissful holiday:

May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow, and may trouble avoid you wherever you go.
