Whirlwind Post Holes & Fencing, LLC of Appleton, Wisconsin, provides fence installation and post hole drilling for residential, industrial and commercial properties. Whirlwind is an expert in all fencing, from wooden privacy fences and picket fences to chain link dog runs and security chain link fences. They also provide post hole drilling services year round.
In the spring of 2015, Whirlwind started questioning their current advertising partner on the effectiveness of their campaigns and ROI. They contacted BPM for initial talks on how their online presence should be managed. A large portion of their budget was going towards pay per click advertising with a well known yellow directory. Whirlwind was spending $2,200 a month, and results were slim to none.
BPM started research with website analytics and other keyword searches. It was found that pay per click advertising was still going to be the best option for Whirlwind. BPM started the campaign and was able to save Whirlwind 70 percent of their pay per click budget each month. The customers were now being delivered to Whirlwind’s website in droves. In talking with Whirlwind about the 2016 season, they grew so much that we have added radio advertising as one of the tools this year. We have also started recruitment advertising on radio due to the huge growth. Whirlwind now has the capacity to add additional fence installation crews.
