Job Summary: Director of Strategic Partnerships
Our ideal candidate is a marketing, public relations, or advertising professional with a talent for recognizing and leveraging new business partnership opportunities to drive revenue growth. The selected candidate will play a key role in generating and cultivating these partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact between the BPM team and potential clients.
Essential duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Reaching out/following up on incoming customer leads (website and phone calls)
- Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
- Consulting with clients and making insightful/actionable recommendations that sell BPM’s marketing services and promotional products
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by uncovering and understanding their needs
- Customizing proposals and quotes for client review/approval
- Coordinating an on-boarding process for new clients
- Conducting research to identify new markets and service offerings
- Maintaining regular contact with prospective clients and responding to questions promptly
- Working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Effectively communicating with internal and external teams to ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets and client expectations
- Keeping on top of new and emerging trends, guidelines and best practices in marketing
- Providing support and offering ideas during the development and execution of marketing plans
- Monitoring and analyzing results of client initiatives and making new recommendations as necessary
- Managing and updating conference reports, project status reports, and billing and budget reports
- Working with President Aaron Baer to establish revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Qualifications
- Sales and marketing experience is necessary
- Completion of an associate or bachelor’s degree program in business administration, marketing, communication, finance or a related field
- Experience in initiating and mapping out marketing strategies using digital and traditional marketing channels
- Sharp presentation, networking, and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving skills
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- An ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
