Baer Performance Marketing (BPM), a full-service, integrated marketing agency, has added Evan Mathu to its team as a Content Marketing Specialist. In this role, Mathu will work on client social media development and management, social media advertisements, and digital content creation.
“When I interned at Baer Performance Marketing in 2020, I never dreamed I’d be able to join the BPM team full time. When I saw the posting for the open position, I knew this was the role I wanted,” Mathu said. “I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to come back and work at BPM again. Marketing and social media have always excited me, and after graduating from St. Norbert College with a Business Marketing degree, I am confident this field is where I want to develop my career.”
Mathu has worked in several positions locally, including his most recent position as a Freight Broker at Schneider. He assisted his professors at St. Norbert in researching and analyzing marketing data for Oneida and other local businesses and has continued to hone his marketing skills since.
“Social media platforms are constantly evolving, and I like to have my finger on the pulse of what’s changing in the industry,” Mathu said. “There are always new trends to keep up with, apps to explore, and strategic ways to leverage social media. I’m excited to be able to return to this agency and get back to work doing what I enjoy. I look forward to providing both stellar service and results to BPM’s clients.”
Mathu was raised on the banks of the Fox River in Wrightstown, Wisconsin. After completing his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing emphasis from St. Norbert College, he moved back to Wrightstown where he also serves his community as the Municipal Judge. Aside from keeping tabs on social media trends and fine-tuning his digital marketing skills, Mathu enjoys the sport of curling, going trap shooting, and taking camping trips with friends.
