We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Branded Merchandise Coordinator to manage client orders, source promotional products, assist in billing, and identify sales opportunities.
Job Summary:
As a Branded Merchandise Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing branded merchandise projects from start to finish. This includes handling client orders, sourcing products, coordinating with vendors, processing billing, and uncovering new sales opportunities. You will also be responsible for upselling current clients, referring potential marketing opportunities to our sales team, and ensuring a seamless promotional product experience. While this is primarily a remote position, the role may require occasional in-office presence for team meetings and other events as determined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order & Vendor Management: Source and oversee promotional product and apparel orders, coordinating with vendors for pricing, proofing, and fulfillment.
- Client Onboarding & Support: Assist new clients in getting started with their branded merchandise orders, ensuring they understand the process and receive the best products for their needs.
- Billing Assistance: Support invoicing and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate client transactions.
- Collaboration with Design Team: Develop new branded merchandise concepts that align with brand guidelines and clients’ desired outcomes.
- Client Relationship & Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell branded merchandise and promotional items to existing clients.
- Sales Growth & Lead Generation: Actively search for new sales opportunities, identifying and referring 1-2 potential clients per month to the sales team for marketing services or expanded promotional product needs.
- HubSpot CRM Management: Use HubSpot’s Deals section to track and manage promotional product and marketing sales opportunities.
- Quality Control & Logistics: Review product proofs for accuracy, monitor production timelines, and address any issues proactively.
- Trend Forecasting: Research and monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to offer clients innovative merchandise solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for increasing branded merchandise revenue.
- In-Office Participation: Be available for team meetings and other in-office events as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, sales, or a related field.
- Strong sales mindset with experience in upselling and identifying business opportunities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM (or similar sales tracking software) and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and thrive in a remote environment.
- Experience with vendor management and an understanding of product sourcing processes.
- Willingness to attend in-office meetings and events as required if local to the Green Bay area.
